Black Violin is a genre-defying duo from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, blending classical training with hip-hop, jazz and fusion. Members Kev Marcus (violin) and Wil B (viola) met in high school orchestra and launch high-energy shows with string arrangements and beats. Known for albums like Take the Stairs (Grammynominated 2020) and their 2025 LP Full Circle. Hits/singles include “Drama,” “Smoke,” and “Beautiful Day” (feat. Lalah Hathaway). They’ve collaborated with Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and featured in performances at the Kennedy Center. Acclaimed for challenging musical boundaries and inspiring young audiences.
